Something Is Broadcasting Beneath Texas: The Terrifying Mystery of The Rival Signal



Something strange is happening in Briar Hollow, Texas. The sky begins to crack with strange light, people hear voices that are not their own, and a signal starts pulsing from deep beneath the ground. In my upcoming horror novel The Rival Signal, two powerful forces are fighting under a small Texas town. One force wants to spread across the world, while the other seems to be trying to keep something locked away.


The story follows Rowan and Maeve, investigators at the Briar Hollow Museum of the Unseen. As they search for answers, they discover that the signal coming from below the earth is not random. It is part of something ancient and carefully built. The deeper they dig, the more they realize the town may be sitting on top of a prison that was never meant to be opened.


But things get worse when people in the town begin acting strangely. A terrifying entity called the Harvester can take control of human bodies and use them like puppets. Rowan and Maeve must face danger, strange creatures, and mind-bending signals while trying to protect the people they love.


And then a symbol appears in the limestone beneath the town. A symbol the invading force does not recognize. Which means something older than the enemy is waking up—and it may be even more dangerous.
