The Night the Roof Started Biting
The Night the Roof Started Biting
What would you do if your house suddenly grew teeth? That’s the terrifying idea behind my upcoming gothic horror novel Teeth in the Roof. In the quiet town of Briar Hollow, strange pressure shakes the old museum in the middle of town. At first, people think it’s just an earthquake or old pipes. But then something far worse happens. The roof begins to split open… and rows of sharp teeth push down through the wood like the house itself has become a monster.
Inside the museum, Rowan and Maeve study strange creatures that came through a hidden crack in reality beneath the town. These creatures are not just animals. They move together like a pack that can feel each other’s thoughts. When they gather above the building and circle the roof, the ground begins to crack open. Something ancient called the Harvester is trying to use the town as a doorway into our world.
The horror grows bigger and more dangerous every minute. The sky bends. The house shakes. People begin acting strangely as the fractures spread. Rowan and Maeve must risk everything to stop the creatures and close the opening before the town is destroyed. But even if they slow it down, something terrible has already awakened beneath the earth.
Teeth in the Roof is a dark, atmospheric horror story filled with cryptids, mystery, and the feeling that something is watching from just above your head. If you enjoy gothic horror, cosmic monsters, and small-town secrets, this story might make you look at your own ceiling a little differently tonight.
