 When the Cracks Fight Back: The Story Behind The Anchor Strengthens


What happens when the cracks in reality stop spreading—and start breaking instead? That is the chilling mystery behind my new psychological horror novel, The Anchor Strengthens. The story follows Rowan and Maeve, two people who discover that their bond has changed something deep inside the world itself. While dark forces called the Witness spread fear and division across America, the fractures in reality begin reacting in a new way. Instead of growing stronger, some of them begin to crack apart.


The story begins in Briar Hollow, Texas, at a strange place called the Museum of the Unseen. Rowan and Maeve return there after surviving terrifying events that nearly destroyed them. But the museum is no longer just a safe place. It has become a command center in a growing supernatural war. Cult groups are collapsing, cities are changing, and powerful forces are waking up inside the fractures of reality.


Then something terrible happens. The Harvester—an enemy that spreads through possession—attacks in a deeply personal way. Rowan and Maeve are forced to make a painful choice that will change their lives forever. Rowan realizes the fight cannot stay in Texas anymore. If they want to stop the darkness, they must take the battle across the country.


The Anchor Strengthens is a gothic psychological horror story about courage, sacrifice, and standing together when the world is breaking apart. And somewhere out there… the fractures are starting to crack.
